SUSHI GROOVE

Sushi Groove has several outlets in Jakarta. It's designed with attractive greenish interior. Cool.
One thing I don't like from Sushi Groove is....I have to queue for long to get seated...oh my...it is always full of customers. My suggestion to avoid the queue line is, please come at 2pm till 5pm. You'll be seated right away you reach the entrance.

Despite to queue for long, I like the menu there.

Miso Soup, one of the must have item.
It is warm and the smell is very good. I like the seaweed, tofu..I like the gravy.
I can't remember the price, but it's still acceptable. Below IDR 10K something

Another item is Krakatau. I don't know if it's your must item, but I like it. It's not in my must list anyway. The price is IDR 20K something, don't remember exactly the number.

And this one is my favorite one, crispy and yummy. Salmon outside, avocado inside the roll. Price is also somekind IDR 20K

The last one we ordered was this kind of roll. I remember the price IDR 25K

Here is my summary
Food : 5 from 5
Price : 3 from 5 (I expect some discount or promo)
Service : 4 from 4
Ambiance : 3 from 5 (too noisy)
Interior : 4 from 5 (difficult to take pic there, it's dark)

Seribu Rasa

Located on Jalan Agus Salim, Jakarta, managed by the same group as Penang Bistro.
I was dying to know this place when everybody talked about Seribu Rasa. M
any positive comments comes out for this restaurant.

One sunny Sunday, we decided to have lunch at Seribu Rasa. It was half full, the waiters were passing by here and there. Very busy.

When the menu books were handed over to us, I suddenly felt like butterfly in my stomach. Shoot....very expensive. Oh no, I wanted to leave that place my husband pushed me to stay. We chose some items. I can't say the food is super. It was so so....Learning from the price list, our expectation was more that served. Oh, another thing, the waiters and waitresses were kind of slow movers, even when we asked for bill.

And the best part is.....there were two young men, standing in front of the toilets -male's and female's toilets- to guide us which one is for male or female. Hellooooo what for? The sign on the door is so clear. They could do another useful thing than standing like hell there.

Anyway, I like the interior...(finally there is something I like from this restaurant). Here is the summary :

Food : 3 from 5
Price : 2 from 5

Service : 1 from 5
Ambience : 3 from 5
Interior : 4 from 5

We spent IDR 356K there....
